Following senior management roles in Vision Consulting, ICL Ireland, ICS Computing and Unibol, Barry has run BHA Consulting since 2004, servicing customers such as Aetopia, American University of Cairo, Consilium, Lagan Technologies, UK Ministry of Justice, Rolls-Royce, Vodafone and Wells Fargo Bank.

Barry is the non-executive chairman at iON, which means he is the man with a plan. He is the one tasked with setting the board agenda, supporting and challenging the executive team, ensuring good corporate governance and helping develop strategy.

In addition to his non-executive Chairman role at Ion, he currently holds non-executive Board positions with Alta Systems Ltd and Customer Carewords, and is a council member of CBI.

Outside of work Barry likes to travel with his wife and spend time with their family. He also enjoys walking and is an avid golfer. Barry is also a council member and house convener of Malone Golf Club.
